FairSourcing ("we," "our," or "the App"), developed by Alpha Softwares, is an on-device sourcing companion designed for trade exhibition buyers. Your privacy is paramount. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to keeping your data private and secure.

2. Data Collection & Transmission

We do not collect any personal data.

• No account registration, login, or personal profile is required to use FairSourcing.
• We do not operate remote servers or cloud databases that ingest your sourcing discoveries.
• We do not track your location, app usage patterns, or device identifiers.
• We never sell, monetize, or share your data with advertisers or third parties.

3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

FairSourcing requests access to specific device capabilities solely to execute features locally on your iPhone:

• Camera Access (NSCameraUsageDescription): Used exclusively to photograph supplier business cards and product samples. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) text extraction is processed 100% locally on your iPhone via Apple's Vision framework. Camera images never leave your phone.
• Photo Library Access (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): Used only if you choose to attach existing business card photos or sample pictures from your Photos gallery.

4. On-Device Storage & Security

• All supplier details, booth locations, product pricing, notes, and photos are saved locally in your device's sandboxed storage using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• Your data is encrypted by iOS when your device is passcode-locked.
• You maintain 100% ownership of your sourcing records. You can delete items or wipe all records anytime via the settings in the App.

5. Exporting and Sharing

When you export PDF catalogs, supplier dossiers, or spreadsheets, the files are generated temporarily on your device and handed to the native iOS Share Sheet. Files are only sent to destinations you explicitly select (e.g., AirDrop, Mail, WhatsApp, or Files). Alpha Softwares never accesses or retains copies of your exports.

6. Third-Party Services & Analytics

FairSourcing contains no third-party tracking SDKs, advertising networks, or third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or Facebook SDK). Your usage patterns remain completely private.

7. Children's Privacy

FairSourcing is a professional business productivity tool. It does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13, in compliance with COPPA.
